The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August: Book Review

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August

   by Claire North

Book Description:

“No matter what he does or the decisions he makes, when death comes, Harry always returns to where he began, a child with all the knowledge of a life he has already lived a dozen times before. Nothing ever changes.

Until now.

As Harry nears the end of his eleventh life, a little girl appears at his bedside. ‘I nearly missed you, Doctor August,’ she says. ‘I need to send a message.’

This is the story of what Harry does next, and what he did before, and how he tries to save a past he cannot change and a future he cannot allow.”

My Review:

OMG! That ending! Wow!

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August is soooo good. I loved it soooo much. The characters are awesome the plot is exciting, although it feels a little slow at times it wont bored you because it’s just perfect for the story. I seriously thought the ending was going to go differently that it did. But what happen was so perfect that just wow. lol

I’m that amazed by this book because I seriously thought I wasn’t going to like it. The book has a lot of re-telling, plus most of the story is told through the eyes of an old man. I don’t know, I just thought that it was going to be hard to relate to, or get inside the story. But it wasn’t hard at all. The book is really awesome. I strongly recommend it.

Its a little bit long but is so well written that its worth the time. Also the audiobook is really awesome and entertaining.
