Isle of the Lost
By Melissa de la Cruz
This book is the prequel to the Disney channel movie The Descendants. I have to admit that I really enjoyed that movie. There was just something about it that made it so appealing and interesting. It gave a different point of view to the fairytales we love. Plus, it answers a question every book lover always asks after a good book is over, what happens next?
Now this book goes even further and tells the story of how Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay became friends. It goes deeper than the movie. And gives you even more details on how their lives are whit their villainess parents. It also follows the adventure that brought the scepter back to Maleficent hands.
It’s a great book for all ages. Easy to read and beautifully written characters.
