The Mother Letters
Sharing the Laughter, Joy, Struggles, and Hope.
By Amber C. Haines and Seth Haines
This book felt so special that I wanted to post a pic of the copy that I owned.
The Mother Letters is a collection of letters written by different mothers sharing their experiences while giving hope and letting you know something really important, you are not alone.
I think it is the first time that I have ever read the preface of a book so many times. I wanted to cry. It’s just so beautiful. The heart behind this book… I mean, it’s just wow.
This book is about hope and finding beauty in the midst of chaos. Motherhood is hard, but there’s also so much beauty in it. I think every mother should read this book. It is written in the hopes that it will give you strength and a new perspective in the joy that motherhood can give you.
This book made me cry, smile, laugh… there’s just, so much heart in it. You can feel the words come to life while you read them.
There are many different type of stories here that I’m sure you’ll be able to relate to. Reading it would be like a breath of fresh air. And believe me it will definitely put a smile on your face.
I don’t think I can say this enough but, READ IT. Give it as a present to your mom, or maybe to your friend that is a new mother. Even if they tell you they don’t have time to read, insist on it at least one letter that they read will be like a breath of fresh air. They’ll thank you later.
Now like I do with many books that I review, here are a couple of “quotes” that I loved:
“We are art-and we make art.”
“How helpless I felt, and yet how much strength I drew from Knowing God said to trust even when I couldn’t see the way helped so much. It was like holding someone’s hand and letting him lead you while you walk with your eyes closed, trusting that he will watch your every step and guide you closely while you rest in his nearness.”
“Just hang on”
“I am learning that being a mother isn’t about being perfect, but it is about trusting your instincts and making confident decisions.”

This book was given to me in exchange of an honest review by Revell.
