Elementals: The Prophecy of Shadows

Elementals: The Prophecy of Shadows

By Michelle Madow

Nichole Cassidy moves to a new town and discovers that she’s a witch descendant from the gods. This new found knowledge will unravel a whole new adventure including 5 new friends and a scavenger hunt that will change her life forever.

The story did his job it hooked me. But I think it was because it was really easy to read. But… it was predictable.

When I first started reading it I thought I already knew the story. It felt like I’ve had read it before. But it did get interesting when the scavenger hunt began. I really did like all of that. I think it just had a rough predictable start.

Spoilers!!!… maybe… lol

Now, there are characters that I think the book wanted me to like but I couldn’t. Like Blake. I get the whole “fall-for-the-bad-boy-thing” but he was too much of an ass in my eyes. I didn’t like him at all. I’m hopping there’s another character in the next book for Nicole. Also Danielle fells like she is made to be a bitch but she isn’t. I don’t really know how to explain it but is like the book wants me to think she is a bitch but it feels too force. Like the character is telling something else (I don’t know what I’m saying anymore lol).

Anyways, the writing is really enjoyable. I think the author did a really good job creating the world or painting the picture. I loved everything that happen once they were on the cave.

It’s a fun-easy-to-read-book and in the end that’s what we look for on this books. If you loved Percy Jackson you’re going to enjoy Elementals.

This book was given to me by the author in exchange of an honest review.
