The Diviners

The Diviners

By Libba Bray

“Naughty John, Naughty John, does his work with his apron on. Cuts your Throat and takes your bones, sells ’em off for a couple of stones.”

A spirit/ demon named “Naughty John” is loose in New York city. Its up to Evie O’Neill, her uncle Will and her friends, to vanquish the spirit/ demon.

For the love of God, if you hear a whistle, freaking runnnn!!! – Me while I was reading this book.

Naughty John is one of the freakiest serial killers ever. He kills people in the most sinister creepy way (that I have read so far) and carves satanic symbols on their bodies.

His house is really spooky and it freaked me out. When I read the first chapter and they started describing the house I tried to somehow read it fast just to ignore it. I read it and was like please noooo don’t built a picture in your head, just don’t.

Fun fact after I finish reading this book I went with my family on vacation and the place where we staid was almost empty because it was low season. So the villa were we were staying, was next to this mini forest of some kind and the whole place was not too bright at night it was really dark, like dime light. And well it freak me out.

You’ll get it when you read it.
